High school learners, perceive social-emotional learning (SEL) as abstract or irrelevant, leading to low engagement and limited skill transfer. Educators face the challenge of making SEL both meaningful and measurable, while competing with the distractions of technology, short attention spans, and diverse learner needs.

Challenge

Elite Squadron transforms SEL courses to an immersive, story-driven adventure. Learners take on the role of cadets traveling across five unique planets, each designed around a core SEL competency. Through interactive missions, reflective choices, and narrative challenges, students practice empathy, collaboration, and responsible decision-making in contexts that feel exciting and relevant. By blending gamification with measurable outcomes, Elite Squadron bridges the gap between engagement and transformation—making SEL both meaningful and lasting.

Solution

Developed with Genially for interactivity and visual immersion, designed to evolve into a fully web-based game environment.
